I am very excited to announce that I have received my very first blogging award! Me! Can you feel my elation? It's very strong. It came from Sugar at Vanillastrawberryspringfields and it is the Happy 101 Award. It makes me happy. I am now supposed to give it away to 10 of my favorite blogs that make me happy. It will be tough because I have alot. Alot. I am also supposed to name 10 things that make me happy. So here we go in no particular order, may I add:

Now on to ten things that make this girl happy...
1. My beautiful family. I am so blessed to have my husband and 3 children (2 girls, 1 boy) who are the joy of my life and the reason I live.
2.My other family members. Parents, siblings, in-laws, and such. I love spending time with them, laughing and teasing each other. Good good times.
3. Books! I always have my nose in a book and just walking into a book store or library gives me the rush that it gives some people when they go clothes shopping or bungee jumping. Really.
4. Falling snow outside while I am cozy inside with my family and nowhere to go.
5. Gardening. I love it but hate weeding. There is just something about planting a tiny seed and growing it until it is a veggie ready to eat! And knowing where it came from.
6. Checking out all the blogs out there. Incredible. Such talented people in cyber space, I tell you.
7. Cooking which has led to this fun award. I love baking desserts. It is my favorite thing to make. I love when people enjoy what I made.
8. Children's (mine especially) giggles. How can you not smile or laugh when you hear it? It just brightens you day.
9. Food. In all its forms: eating it, watching it on Food Network, and making it. And Diet Coke. Oh yes.
10. My shows on television. Yes, I admit it. Come evening I am in the Zone. Biggest Loser, Criminal Minds, CSI, CSI: New York, Ghost Whisperer, SNL, and Cold Case. It cannot be helped.
