blogger templates
Hello my friends! I am really excited to share with you all another amazing food blogger. This is my friend Lark, from Lark's Country Heart! She is such a great gal, with a great blog! I asked her to come on over and share one of her delicious recipes today. This sounds like one I will be making soon. I'll let her tell ya all about it.....

Hi I am Lark of Lark's Country Heart!
I was so honored Holly asked me to come for a visit & share a recipe. (I was a little nervous too.)
I am a huge fan of Holly & her blog. She always seems to make the perfect comment or just drop in to say "Hi'.
I try and surround myself with those who make me smile and want to help others......Holly fit's the bill!

Just to tell a little bit about myself  I am a wife and Mother. I have been married for almost 14 years. My only child Jessica will be turning 12 in July. (heaven help me!)  We live in a VERY small country town in Nevada, located 100 miles North of Las Vegas. And this is where I get my Starbuck's "fix". I have been blogging since 2009. I am currently involved in (3) different blogs. http://larkscountryheart.blogspot.com

In addition to blogging my hobbies are running marathons, crafting, baking/cooking, and shopping with girlfriends.
I am also active in my church, where I am a Activity Day Leader for the 10-11 yr. old girls. There is something always going on here in my little town.  If I ever get stressed...that is when you will find me in the kitchen for sure.

I thought I would share a brand new recipe with ya'll. I made this up last week after seeing some pasta sauce recipes floating around, saying they were the "knock off" of the Cheesecake Factory's sauce.......they weren't even close!  And once I set my mind on something I HAVE to do it. (Just ask My husband!)
I would NEVER say it is just like the "factory's"....but it is pretty darn close!

CREAMY PASTA SAUCE
*Very easy to prepare! It does have to simmer, so be prepared to allow the time*
1/2 Onion finely diced
1 Whole Garlic Clove; minced
3 TBSP Olive Oil
1 C. Fresh Button Mushrooms; sliced
6 Whole Links of Mild Italian Sausage; remove casing and cut into small pieces
1 (26 oz.) Spaghetti Sauce
3 (8 oz.) Tomato Sauce (I like to use Hunt's Basil, Oregano &Garlic style)
1 TBSP Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. Salt
2 Bay Leaves
1 Pint Heavy Cream
2 TBSP Corn Starch
1/4 C. Water
4-6 C. Cooked Pasta Noodles

In a large stock pot saute the oil, onion, mushrooms & garlic.
Add in the raw sausage and cook until browned.
Stir in salt, seasonings and all sauces. Place Bay leaves in, stir to blend. Cook over med.-low heat.
Make a rue with the cornstarch and water. Slowly stir in to sauce. Let thicken stirring continually. Once the sauce has thicken let simmer for 20 minutes.
Then whisk in the heavy cream. Let simmer again for 10 minutes.
Then you are ready to pour over the cooked pasta noodles.
YUM! I hope you like it as much as my family does.

*Thank you again Holly for asking me to visit!
