Announcing Cooking With Seed - Channadal

I couldnt able to host an event since few months, finally this month's cooking with seeds is going to hosted by myself.I chosed channadal as this month's seed, i do cook much with channadal and moong dal. Channadal is also known as bengal gram and its quite a popular legume in India, a staple food in Indian diet, this dal is very much related to chickpeas.

Bengal gram have a mild sweet flavour and they can be used in soups,dips or in salads. If i make stir fry with veggies, i usually add either channadal or split moongdal. Obviously you may know why i chosed this dal. Coming to channadal, they tastes delicious,nutritious,low fat, high in protein, prefect for vegetarians. They contains a good amounts of iron, vitamins and calcium.This dal is great for diabetics as they wont cause spike in their blood sugar.



Wat you need to do:

1)Cook or create dishes with channadal as anything(vegetarian, vegan or non-vegetarian are accepted)..

2)Many entries per person are allowed..
