Sunspots Pottery
While shooting in Toronto, my production designer Nuala included some adorable pottery in her first round of pots. Speckled like a robin's egg, and glazed in a delicate pale blue hue, these little pourers and bowls were impossible to resist. I immediately asked for the shop's name and set out to grab a few for myself the next day.
Not all of them made it in my luggage, but the sturdy lot that did sit here. All made by Sunspots, these pieces are designed to function well in the kitchen and at the table; they're even microwaveable!. I love their simplicity and the subtleness of their glazing. They're rustic without ever being too "earth mother."
