Monochromatic Bouquets
I love buying flowers from the farmer's market and then putting together little bouquets at home, and one of my sure-fire tips to creating a beautiful bouquet is the akem's razor of flower arranging: one color. The simplest solution to be sure, and one that anyone can achieve. Choosing flowers in the same hue makes any bouquet a sophisticated blend of textures and makes picking out blooms so much easier. Some of my favorites for a variety of colors are tulips, ranunculus, anemones, peonies, garden roses, and poppies. Any of these look unpretentious but luxurious as well. Throw in some subtle greens for good measure and you have a gorgeous display that will leave people wondering where you buy your bouquets.
